TAROBO|Design Manager
Jul 2020 – Present , Taipei
▌TAROBO App:
- Simplified complex financial features into an intuitive app interface—covering fund details, comparisons, portfolio tracking, and market analysis—leading to increased 6.8% user engagement time and 2.5% power user growth post-launch.
- Planned and Developed a tiered membership system to provide content tailored to different data security levels.
- Built a comprehensive Design System with 100+ components, including data visualizations such as tables and charts, enhancing team productivity and maintaining consistent visual standards.
- Collaborated with engineers on visual quality assurance, managed large design systems, and supported user testing sessions.
▌UG Hedge Fund Website:
- Collaborated with UG hedge fund to digitize their website, transforming complex financial information into user-friendly digital products. This included fund details, client and asset management, and online subscription forms.
- Identified product pain points between hedge fund companies and bank asset managers, conducted planning and design, and crafted end-to-end digital products within tight deadlines.
- Planned and implemented an AI chatbot to alleviate customer service workload, and successfully conducted live testing at the launch event.
▌TAROBO App China Version (In Development):
- Developed a financial tool for Chinese wealth managers, with stock info, watchlists, market data, and visualized charts, tailored to local user habits.
- Planned and designed the app’s homepage and market information pages, leading designer team throughout the process.
TAROBO|UI/UX Designer
Feb 2018 – Jul 2020 , Taipei
▌TAROBO Web Product:
- Established product guidelines and modularized components to streamline workflows, educing design inconsistencies by 40%.
- Led a three-stage app redesign, optimizing simulated fund-portfolio UI and mobile RWD UI/UX based on user interviews and surveys with 200+ participants.
- Monitored product revisions and developed satisfaction surveys to ensure alignment with user needs, leading to a 5.6% increase in user growth.
- Supported marketing efforts with advertising and promotion materials, including press conference visuals, sales kits, and online ads.
▌TAROBO B2B Web Product:
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop a customer-portfolio management tool for bank financial advisors.
- Conducted user interviews and usability testing with 25+ participants, driving to inform design decisions.
- Acquired knowledge of Personal Information Protection Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
